Having bought all those bedding plants the other day, today was the perfect day to plant them out in my patio containers. Unfortunately though before Mum and I could do that we had to empty out the old soil from some of the pots and in one of those pots we rather bizarrely found some wheat growing!

Rather bizarrely when we went out for a walk this afternoon we found that someone had left a bag of carrots at the end of the alleyway next to our house.

The newspapers do frequently report ridiculous stories and this one this morning about a 'nose' attachment to enable you to use your smart phone in the bath was no exception! It did make me smile though!

The desk of one of my colleagues overlooks an atrium area on the ground floor occupied by another company - the two armchairs have been there for ages and in two months I never seen anyone sitting in them. However even more bizarrely this morning a giant swordfish appeared next to them...

We've spent the last couple of days visiting the many themed hotels in Vegas, but I think this one, the Excalibur, must win the prize for the craziest facade that wouldn't look out of place at Disneyland! Other bizarre things we've seen include a giant sphinx, a pirate show, animated fountains and a miniature Eiffel Tower. Las Vegas truly is the home of the weird, wacky and wonderful!
