After a very windy week it was exciting that today on our last evening the sun was shining and the wind had dropped enough to allow us to sit out on the decking outside our holiday cottage in order to eat our dinner. Okay, so we still needed to wear our fleeces but at least we were outside and the sun was shining!

Traditionally March is supposed to roar in like a lion and go out like a lamb, unfortunately March 2011 doesn't seem to have read the rule book and the wind this afternoon was blowing about our daffodils in the pots at the front of the house, hence why today's photo is slightly blurry!
