In an inspired moment whilst buying milk this morning I decided to buy some soup for lunch to warm us up in this cold weather, unfortunately our power went off just before lunch and so I had to ransack the garage to find our camping stove to heat it up! Typically the power was restored shortly after lunch!

After yesterday's carving efforts today we got to eat the spoils of our labour in the form of soup! Fortunately it tasted good too as there's more in the freezer for another day.
