This weekend we're going down to visit my parents and help out at their 40th wedding anniversary party. I seem to have volunteered to make some coleslaw but as my mum doesn't have a food processor I've decided to take ours rather than have to chop cabbage by hand!

Shepherd's pie takes a bit of effort to make but made in advance it makes for a simple dinner as you can just stick in the oven and leave it to re-heat whilst you get on with other things or as was my case this evening have a nap!
