Having yesterday taken Mr W on an unintentional adventure when I accidentally took us on a longer than planned detour through some very narrow country lanes, today we had a planned adventure when we took the Bodinnick ferry to Fowey rather than driving the long way round by road. Much less stressful for Mr W than the narrow lanes!

I went further today than I've been all week - all the way to London Bridge to go and get a blood test from the hospital next door. Made a change to get out of the house for a while!

My parents are going off travelling for three months at the beginning of January and so we bought them a Bon Voyage card, together with a jar of Marmite as we weren't sure they would be able to survive without it for that long!
