Bit of a tough morning today but what better way to cheer ourselves up than with some tea and cake in the sunshine?

Mr W is out this evening and so there was no need for me to cook a 'wondrous' meal, instead I opted for tea and toast. On one slice I put home-made plum jam and on the other, Marmite. Now they say you either 'love it or hate it' and I have to confess I am very much in the first camp - there are few things I'd rather have on my toast!

We gave a friend a lift home this morning after yesterday's wedding and stopped for a cup of tea whilst we were there. This is her cat, Kiko, who apparently is slightly crazy but she just seemed cute to us!

Despite my best efforts of leaving the directions at home, we made it to the campsite without getting lost and got our tent up in good time.  Now having a celebratory cup of tea with our friends - plus still no sign of the promised rain!  Hurrah!
