Mr W's mum is coming to stay on Saturday night so we were getting in some early preparation and pumping up the airbed this evening.

This evening Mr W has been very organised and laid out all his bits for his tube run tomorrow morning - I am not quite sure about the inclusion of a chocolate orange for fuel during the run though...

This morning we headed out to find a puzzle geocache that Dad had challenged us to calculate the co-ordinates for a while ago, unfortunately we were less prepared on where we needed to park to retrieve the cache and so in the end we just enjoyed a lovely walk in the snow and gave up on the search.

The Scout motto is 'Be Prepared'. But I think having a bag of gritting salt on the station platform this morning was taking it a bit far. I know SouthEastern took a lot of flack for not being ready for the cold weather last winter, but personally I reckon the only ice we'll be seeing in the next couple of months will be in our drinks.
